We are pleased to finally be able to give you the details for this year’s Pride March.
Due to the Queen’s Parade being on the same day as Pride, Please note the Pride March will start later than previous years. There is also a slight change to the March Route.
Assemble for March outside the City Chambers on Royal Mile from 1pm
Speeches will take place outside the City Chambers at 1.15pm
March will leave from the City Chambers at 1.45pm sharp.
Down Royal Mile, Past Scottish Parliament, Abbeyhill past the Regent Bar, Royal Terrace, down onto Leith Walk (onto the pavement at RBS at corner of London Road/Leith Walk Roundabout) The march will disassemble at The Omni Centre at Greenside Row at the top of Leith Walk.
The march is expected to take between 45-60 mins with a possible stop briefly at bottom of the Royal Mile to allow the Police to reopen the road at Parliament following the Queens Parade.
Pride Edinburgh is providing 2 mobility buses for the March for those not able to walk the route either the full way or part of the way due to Mobility or Health Problems. There will be 1 bus at the front of the March for those unable to walk from the beginning and 1 at the rear for those who may need picked up along the route. The Pride Festival will run from 3pm until 7pm with our Main Stage providing LIVE Entertainment at Greenside Place.
The Health and Community Fair (Stalls) will take place inside the Omni Centre, Greenside Row from 1pm – 5pm
